YEAY SPACE!

We didn't take up a new love of astronomy... we just learned how to make better use of the space we have in our house. We were thinking of moving but it really is too much of a hassle for how long we're planning on being here. We went to IKEA and bought a few things that made our lives easier and made us very happy! Terrel got a new desk that meets all of his gaming preferences lol. We also rearranged our living room so that we would have more usable space. We both like it a lot and it will make working during the school year a lot easier. Before, both of our desks were at least partly under the half ceiling. Now, we don't have to worry about hitting our heads or a leaking skylight (the leak ruined some of my school work).

In the kitchen, we got a butcher block/island and it has completely changed the amount of space we have. Now there's space for our toaster to sit on the counter, we moved our pantry (so it's not under the half ceiling), moved the mixer so I can use it, and quadrupled the amount of work space. I am in love with my new kitchen! Terrel finally convinced me that we had the means to get it, and it was on sale! So, with all these new layouts I might be able to avoid hitting my head as often.

It was a lot of work but totally worth it. It distracted us from our babysitting responsibilities and reminded us of how well we work together. To see pictures, just click on the "Culp Family Album" link.
